Sales Manager Position


We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Salesperson to help grow Moss Distributing’s presence in the family entertainment and coin-operated equipment market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and driving revenue. You’ll be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and helping to ensure that operators and entertainment centers across the U.S. have access to the best products and support in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Build Relationships: Identify and reach out to potential customers including family entertainment centers, street operators, arcade owners, and more.
  • Product Knowledge & Sales Presentations: Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on the full range of coin-operated equipment offered by Moss Distributing.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the needs of each client and recommend solutions that will help them succeed in their operations.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for the customer.
  • Account Maintenance: Maintain regular communication with existing customers, addressing any concerns, upselling additional products, and providing ongoing support.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our logistics, parts and service teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Travel: Travel as necessary to meet with Customer, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the coin-operated industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Motivated by sales goals and target-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the unique needs of family entertainment centers, arcades, or street operators is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the United States.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Contracted Technician Position


As an Arcade Game Technician, you’ll provide essential installation, maintenance, and repair services for arcade games and related equipment. Your technical expertise will ensure that our customers’ machines are in optimal working condition, providing the best experience for their customers. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position offering competitive hourly pay, mileage reimbursement, and potential bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Set up and install arcade games and related equipment according to company specifications and customer requirements.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on arcade machines to ensure they remain in peak condition.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software problems. Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns, answering questions, and minimizing downtime for arcade games.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job. Complete service tickets and reports as required.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and return defective parts and maintain a well-managed inventory of spare parts to ensure timely repairs.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on experience and location.
  • Payment Schedule: Paid twice a month, on the 15th and 30th.
  • Mileage Reimbursement: IRS mileage rate of $0.67 per mile for travel related to service calls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a technician, ideally in arcade, gaming, or similar mechanical/electrical environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and always maintain professional conduct.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and best practices in technical service.

Responsibilities of the Technician:

  • Professional Conduct: Adhere to all industry standards, regulations, and Moss Distributing policies while performing services.
  • Non-compete Clause: Refrain from soliciting or accepting work from locations serviced under this contract without written consent from Moss Distributing.
  • Side Selling Prohibition: Do not offer services, products, or equipment that compete with Moss Distributing’s offerings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on service progress, issues encountered, and any customer feedback to Moss Distributing.
