Basketball Pro incorporates a controller that is the size of an actual basketball. The air-powered, hemispherical interface allows players to control their shots. The game’s two player stations support side-by-side competition or single play. Its two backboards, equipped with hoops and game clocks, move up and down as players propel mini balls at them with each pound. Players score three points for every basket; baskets in the final 10 seconds award six points. Its compact footprint is ideal for bars and other street locations, and it will stand out in the largest of FECs.

The non-ticket Basketball Pro Fun Version is all about playing for “fun.” It is optimized for a non-redemption clientele that includes bars and other street locations. The dedicated Fun Version has a single front door design that supports one bill validator, along with two coin mechanisms. The ticket signage of the original redemption game has been removed, and “how to play” decals are placed where the ticket readouts are situated on the redemption version. Additionally, where the “big win” readouts are located at the top of the original game, there is only a “top score” readout on the Fun Version (here the best player can point to his Basketball Pro achievement!). Operators can add a cashless reader option to accept credit cards and mobile payments, which are becoming more common on amusement machines, and boost earnings.

Tickets are won with every play, based on where the truck stops. Detailed graphics and sounds abound. The game borrows from a popular theme in the Jurassic Park movies: dinosaurs chasing trucks. The game’s objective is to “escape from the island.” The central components are two miniature off-road vehicle replicas that players push up the railed tracks. Red Zone Rush is a fun four-player game experience featuring dozens of mini footballs labeled with different letters and ticket values on a rotating playfield. In the middle of the playfield is an NFLPA licensed football player that is operated by the player ready to help RUSH the footballs into the endzone. The player presses the button on the control panel and the football player rushes forward. As the football player rushes forward, he will push any footballs in the way onto the "endzone" platform. The letters on each football combine to spell “TOUCHDOWN”; if the player skillfully gets all of these letters he or she will receive a super ticket bonus. Several footballs are labeled “CARD” which allow for the players to win a collectable game piece in one play. Players can collect all eight Offensive Player trading cards for a ticket bonus, all eight Defensive Player trading cards for a ticket bonus or all 16 Offensive and Defensive trading cards for a SUPER bonus. Once the game completes, the "endzone" platform tilts up and places the footballs back onto the rotating playfield.
